The Aston Martin DBS 59 celebrates 1959 Le Mans win

Today, Aston Martin have announced arguably their best looking car yet, better than the Vision Concept from the 2019 Geneva Motor Show I reckon. It is an ultra limited variant of the DBS Superlegerra called the 59, named to commemorate the 1-2 victory of the Aston DBR1 at the 1959 Le Mans. It features an amazing green colour paired with a gloss carbon fibre roof and a bespoke interior from its Q division. The Q division is an in-house service offering unique personalisation equivalent to MSO (McLaren Special Operations) of McLaren.

As for the engine, it is still the same 715bhp, 5.2 litre twin-turbo V12 unit found in the regular DBS. This means the car is still capable of accelerating from zero to 62mph in 3.2 seconds and onto a top speed of 211mph. More importantly, the beautiful bespoke interior as seen in the pictures below feature a colour scheme which pays homage to the original 1959 DBR1 Le Mans winning car. Bronze details are also featured throughout the interior from the shift paddles to the beautiful 59 crest embroidered on the seat back.
