The Ferrari 812 Superfast has been with us for two years and we’ve learnt a few interesting things in the two year production run. Let’s start with the current price of used cars at the moment, the cheapest one on Auto trader is £309,000 at the time of writing this. This is astonishing because it’s a full £40,000 over the list price for a ‘regular’ car in Ferraris line-up? I guess everyone is holding onto their cars in the hopes of getting a slot for the next latest and greatest special edition.

The 6.5 litre V12 is no slouch either, producing 789bhp and 718Nm at 7,000rpm. It’s hard to believe this engine is an improvement on the already powerful Ferrari F12, the predecessor to the 812. These crazy power figures mean it has a top speed of 211mph and a mind blowing 0-62mph time 2.9 seconds. After taking a closer look at these power figures, the gap between the 812 and the new 488 Pista isn’t too far. In fact it actually has a top speed higher than the more track focus car. In conclusion, every car Ferrari make is special and its no surprise they’re holding their value so well. When your grand tourer is quicker than your track focused weapon everyone’s a winner.
